A Community of Christ Seminary grant for potential church leaders has been made possible through a generous donor again this year. Applicants can apply for a range of support from full tuition, fees, and books for the entire two-year program to books for one class. This grant is also available for current Community of Christ Seminary students.
Applicants are required to have a discussion with both a local congregational leader and a Mission Center or field leader. Those discussions will then form the basis of letters of endorsement from each leader as part of the application process.
Eva Erickson, ministry coordinator in Germany, received the 2015 grant. She shared, “My ministry will benefit from the knowledge and experience I will gain through seminary. My first course, Christian Theology, has given me so much insight already.”
The grant application is due by March 15, 2016, and will be awarded by the first of April allowing students time to complete their seminary application by Graceland University’s deadline of May 31.
